How we care for you

When you become a patient of Dr. Duncan, you’ll usually meet first with Sondra Barker in the office for a preliminary evaluation. Surgery candidates will meet with Dr. Duncan.

She’ll explain what to expect before, during and after surgery, answer questions and help you feel comfortable. She will also arrange for any pre-op diagnostic tests you may require. In coordination with PCP.

After the procedure, which may be done at St. Agnes Hospital or Howard County General Hospital, you’ll have two follow-up visits in the office: at two weeks with Sondra and at six weeks with Dr. Duncan.

Our team’s goals are to provide expert care and regular communications throughout the process to achieve the best outcome.

“I am so grateful that my doctor recommended that I see Dr. Duncan. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. My medical issues were very complex and I am extremely happy with my results. His office and hospital and nurse practitioner make a great team.”
